Polkomtel (Poland's telecom service provider) billing solution.

The goal of the team was to develop end to end Pre-paid billing solution for Poland's premiere telecom service provider Polkomtel. This involved the use of Intec's Singl.eView, Convergent Billing product, Commerce Engine, and APIs to interact with Polkomtel's Customer Care interface.

My responsibilities include coming up with the external and internal design for the Rating and Charging module, Leading a team of 6 members for the deliverables. Delegating development and design tasks to team members, code reviews, brief project planning in terms of scheduling, development, reviewing Unit test plans, assisting team members, providing status updates to the team manager.

MSNTV (Automation/Test) - Designing and testing automated tests.

The goal of the MSNTV team was to develop from the scratch the MSNTV service and Client using .NET Framework, Windows CE, SQL Server and MSN Billing System. The goal of the Automation/Test team was to develop the test framework, test harness, test management system and test scripts to automate the testing of the WebTV service. The test team size was 34; the automation part of that team had 8 members (me included).

I was involved in the MSNTV project from day 1. Design and development of test framework, test harness, test management system, test scripts, test reporting and bug tracking (Integrate the test reporting with the existing bug tracking system). Interacting with the development team (for hooks in the service for the test framework) and the test team (our client). Review and Testing. Testing included BVTs, CITs, performance, stability and stress. I was a lead to 3 other members of our team. My role as a lead involved assigning tasks, collect status reports, setting goals and mentoring.

WebTV (Automation/Test) - Designing and testing automated tests.

The goal of the Automation/Test team was to develop the test framework, test harness, test management system and test scripts to automate the testing of the WebTV service. The test team size was 28; the automation part of that team had 3 members (me included).

I was involved in the following activities, design and development of test framework, test harness, test management system and test scripts. Interacting with the development team (for hooks in the service for the test framework) and the test team (our client). Review and Testing.

IKON INIT - Development of packages for migration of data.

To develop packages to migrate data from index sequential files to Oracle tables and optimization of the table structures (3rd Normal form). Also to write packages to generate business reports.

I was involved in the following activities, design, Coding, Enhancements, Performance Tuning, Preparation of Test cases, Review and Testing. CMM5 certification representative for the team with the main QA group.

MARSCAN - Automation of the Inventory System (SCAN)

To develop a package to automate the Inventory system of the customer. Provide easier to use GUI and to optimize the existing packages.

I was involved in the following activities, design, Coding, Enhancements, Performance Tuning, Preparation of Test cases, Review and Testing.

1. Member of the editorial board of the Computer Science departmental magazine in College.
2. Represented my project for CMM5 certification at Infosys when we were audited successfully.
3. Design Engineer of the Quarter during the 3rd quarter of 2001 by the MSNTV team for my valuable design suggestions.
